அந்த தோட்டத்திலுள்ள சிறீ காளியம்மன் ஆலயத்தில் கடந்த 25ஆம் திகதி மேற்கொள்ளவிருந்த மிருகப்பலி பூஜைக்கு எதிராக பொதுபலசேனவினர் எதிர்ப்பு ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தினர் எனினும், பொலிஸாரின் அனுமதியுடன் மிருகப்பலி பூஜை அன்று நடத்தப்பட்டமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்கதாகும்.
இந்நிலையிலேயே மிருகப்பலி பூஜை செய்தமைக்கு எதிர்பபு தெரிவித்து தற்போது மத்துகமையின பல பகுதிகளில் எதிர்ப்பு ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் நடத்தப்படுகின்றது

Even Jaffna was famous for the cruel killings of animals in the temples.This was purely on commercial basis.Hindu religion never preached that killings of animals in temples or elsewhere is essential.Some Hindus maintain the double standard in religion too.

The followers of the religion should follow the principles of the religion.south indian phrase about their fulfillments in regard to hindu religious Gods or Goddess "KIDA VEDDI PONGAL PODUVOM" is aboslutely nonsense.What religion says and what it preaches.But thank God you cannot see such a horrible event inside a Buddhist Vihare or temple.This policy makes us to keep away totally rom the hindu religion.
