வடக்கில் மாகாண சபைத் தேர்தல் ஒன்று நடத்தப்பட்டால், அமைச்சர் விமல் வீரவன்ச அரசாங்கத்தில் இருந்து விலக வேண்டும் என ஐக்கிய தேசிய கட்சி தெரிவித்துள்ளது. ஐ.தே.கட்சியின் ஊவா மாகாண சபை உறுப்பினர் திஸ்ஸ குட்டியாராச்சி இதனைத் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
13ம் திருத்தச் சட்டம் நீக்கப்படாமல் வடக்கில் தேர்தல் நடத்தப்பட கூடாது என்று அமைச்சர் விமல் வீரவன்ச தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.
எனினும் இந்த 13ம் திருத்தச் சட்டம் தொடர்பில் அரசாங்கத்தினுள்ளேயே மாறுப்பட்ட நிலைபாடுகள் காணப்படுகின்றன.
இந்நிலையில் வடக்கில் மாகாண சபை தேர்தல் நடத்தப்படுமாக இருந்தால், உண்மையான வீரனாக அமைச்சர் விமல் வீரவன்ச பதவி விலகுவாரா என்று அவர் கேள்வி எழுப்பியுள்ளார்?.

Mr Wimal Weerawamsa is not the big problem,the country has many important problems to deal with,so it is advisable to Mr.Cutti Aratchchi
to concentrate his mind on the vital issues of the country atleast the nation can benefit a little more .
We agree with 1st comment. There r many important issue, Wimal also an important issue to the country. Because he alwys barking like a mad dog for no good reason and being minister doing nothing. So the request for him to resign is a fair one.
Dog barks at the moon,but moon makes only a gleeful laugh.Nothing happens to the moon.Sir.Robert walpole once said "Let sleeping Dog Lie",as it has a lot of meaning.The politicians always blame each other for the country`s ill,but from our point of view,we have to watch them "How much they are doing to the country" ,
practically.Every second,every minute and every hour are worthful especially for a politician to do atleast a good thing to the nation,rather than boasting and making comments for the people to laugh.The country`s prosperity is very important.We need peace,courage and humility among us
to reach our goal
