சில வெதுப்பகங்கள் மற்றும் பாண் விற்பனை நிலையங்களில் நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்ட விலையிலும் பார்க்கக் கூடிய விலையில் பாண் விற்பனை செய்யப்படுவதாகப் பொதுமக்கள் பலரினால் புகார் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
450 கிராம் நிறையுள்ள பாண் 58 ரூபாவுக்கே விற்பனை செய்யப்படல் வேண்டும் என்பது ஏற்கனவே நிர்ணயிக்கப்பட்டு நடை முறையில் செயற்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில் ஒரு இறாத்தல் பாண் எனக் கேட்கும்போது 50 சதம் பெறுமதியான சொப்பின் பாக்குக்குள் அதனை வைத்து நுகர்வோரிடம் 60 ரூபா பணம் பெறப்படுகின்றது. இரண்டு இறாத்தல் பாண் கேட்கும்போது ஒரு ரூபா பெறுமதியான பாக்குக் குள்வைத்து இரண்டு இறாத்தல் பாண் கொடுத்துவிட்டு 120 ரூபா பணம் அறவிடப்படுகிறது.
இந்த வகையில் பாண் நுகர்வோர் ஒருவர் ஒரு இறாத்தல் பாணுக்கு ஒரு ரூபா ஐம்பது சதத்தையும், இரண்டு இறாத்தல் பாணுக்கு மூன்று ரூபாவையும் கூடுதலாகச் செலுத்தவேண்டி உள்ளது. சில வெதுப்பகங்களில் பாணின் நிறையும் 450 கிராமாக இல்லை. றோஸ் பாண் எனச் சொல்லப்படும் வாட்டிய பாண் கால் இறாத்தல் எனக் கூறி விற்கப்படுகின்றது. ஆனால் நான்கு கால் இறாத்தல் பாணை சேர்த்து நிறைபோட்டுப் பார்த்தால் 450 கிராமாக அது இல்லை. பத்து ரூபாவுக்கும் பாண் தயாரித்து விற்பனையில் உள்ளது.
பாணின் பாவனை யாழ். மாவட்டத்தில் அதிகளவில் உள்ளது. உத்தியோகத்தர்கள், தொழிலாளர்கள், மாணவர்கள் என அவசரம் கருதி பாணைப் பாவிப்பதில் அவர்கள் முன்னிலையில் காணப்படுகின்றனர். பாணின் விலை, நிறை, தரம் என்பவற்றில் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட அதி காரிகள் கவனம் செலுத்துவது டன் வெதுப்பகங்கள், விற்பனை நிலையங்களை அடிக்கடி திடீர் பரிசோதனை நடவடிக்கைக்கு உட்படுத்த வேண்டும் எனப் பொது மக்களினால் வேண்டுகோள் விடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

Bread is our essential food item.Especially poor people depends on bread.The easiest and the cheapest
for the poor man`s consumption.
It is the government`s duty to control the standard and the quality
including the weight of the bread.
Qualified and experienced bakers to be allowed to do the job.Wrapping the bread in old and dirty news papers,unhygienic conditions of the bakeries and salesman or woman`s
neatness to be taken into consideration.Cleanliness is next to Godliness.The government should know the bread has a long connection with the the poor man.Remember While the french Revolution the poor people cried and said we haven`t bread to eat.
Please do not hit the poor man`s stomach,he cannot have bread with honey and butter.He cannot have a rich delicious meal.He purely depends, on bread and "pol sambol"
which fills his stomach and wipe out his hunger.It is really hard to understand what our MP s are doing.
These are vital issues for which they have to fight for.
A big protest or demonstration in regard to this matter is very very esssential.There is nothing to shy.Monied people may be don`t care about the rise of the bread,but the poor man´s stomach is to be considered,than anything else in the world.
Those who represent especially the poor voters just wasting the time in discussing about the Thrash,why not they think about the
poor man`s "Daily Bread".It is understandable because they need not to worry because they are quite OK They play quite well,but the poor man`s bread and its quality price are just a peanut matter for them.The voters are to be blamed for their mistakes
