காலம்சென்ற திரு. செல்வநாயகம் அவர்களின் அஸ்தியை யாழ்ப்பாணத்திலிருந்து திருமலைக்கு எடுத்து வந்ததன் ஊடகாக திருமலை மாவட்டத்தில் தமிழ் தேசிய கூட்டமைப்பின் தலைவர் இரா.சம்பந்தனே இனவாதத்தை உருவாக்கியதாக பிரதி அமைச்சர் சுசந்த புஞ்சி நிலமே குற்றம் சாட்டியுள்ளார். தமிழ் மக்களின் உரிமைகள் அரசாங்கத்தினால் மீறப்படுவதாக முதலை கண்ணீர் வடிக்கும் இரா. சம்பந்தனின் சுயரூபத்தை அவர் பாராளுமன்றத்தில் பகிரங்கப்படுத்தினார்.அவர் அங்கு பேசுகையில் :
சம்பந்தன் அவர்களே திருமலை மாவட்டத்தில் இனவாத விதையை விதைத்தவர்கள் தாங்களே. தந்தை செல்வநாயகம் மரணம் அடைந்ததன் பின்னர் அவரது அஸ்தி திருமலைக்கு எடுத்துவரப்பட்டது. யாழ்ப்பாணத்திலிருந்து இவ் அஸ்தி எடுத்து வரப்பட்டது. யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில் மரணமடைந்த செல்வநாயகத்தின் அஸ்தி யாழ்பாணத்திலேயே வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டும். ஆனால் திருமலையில் இனவாதத்தை ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக அவரது அஸ்தி எடுத்து வரப்ப்பட்டது. சிறிமாபுர எனும் சிங்கள கிராமத்தினூடாக இவ் அஸ்தி எடுத்துவரப்பட்டது. இனவாதத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் வகையில் அவ் அஸ்தி ஊர்வலமாக எடுத்து வரப்பட்டது. அதன் மூலம் தேவையற்ற ஒரு இனக்கலவரம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது
