நீண்ட நாட்களாக நோய்வாய்பட்டிருந்து சிங்கப்பூர் வைத்தியசாலையில் உயிரிழந்த ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியின் பிரதி பொதுச் செயலாளரும் பாராளுமன்ற உறுபினருமான டாக்டர் ஜயலத் ஜெயவர்த்தவின் நினைவாக ஐக்கிய தேசியக் கட்சியின் பிரித்தானிய கிளை இரு நிகழ்வுகளை நடாத்துகின்றது. அன்னாருக்கான இறுதி அஞ்சலி நிகழ்வுகளில் ஆதரவாளர்கள் பொதுமக்கள் அனைவரையும் கலந்து கொள்ளுமாறு கட்சியின் பிரித்தானியக் கிளையினர் கேட்டுக்கொள்கின்றனர்.
