எதிர்வரும் பொதுத்தேர்தலில் ஆயுததாரிகள் எவரும் ஐக்கிய மக்கள் சுதந்திர முன்னணி அரசாங்கத்தில் போட்டியிட முடியாது என சிறிலங்கா சுதந்திரக் கட்சியின் உப தலைவர்களில் ஒருவரான முரலிதரன் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். அவ்வாறு அவர்கள் போட்டியிடுவதானால் ஆயுதங்களை கீழே வைத்துவிட்டு வரவேண்டும் எனவும் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

First of all he is a armed personal. How can he tell others. He personally attack TMVP of pillayan. nothing else. Srilankan politics can do anything. Now look for example president had told nimal siripala when he asked to nominate his sister to badulla district, that he won't allow two person from a family. Then what about several people. Instance Rajapakshe family several in Hambantota one from gampaha another from kurunegala,
Rathnapura, Monaragala etc. If nimal siripala can put several people from his family president may accept them.
